Presented in in near concours condition in all respects, it is by far one of the nicest of this GTVs we have seen. It is a standout example and will require no more than routine servicing for many years to come.

The rare ‘241 Verde’ colour paintwork is gleaming and flawless. Panel fits are spot on, and it has an extremely clean engine bay. The interior is to the same high standards too, beautifully original.

Its stunning condition is all thanks to a small number of owners who have cherished it throughout its life. We are told it had two owners in South Africa, the 2nd garaged the car for many years and driving it occasionally. Then, an Italian car collector acquired the car and funded the restoration, at which point the engine, gearbox and all glass removed, the coachwork was stripped, and finished to its original colour.

In 2020, it was purchased by a British enthusiast and imported to the UK. Whilst here it has visited various Alfa specialists and it has mechanically proofed and brought to as standard specification as possible.

The odometer reads just under 44, 000 kilometres from new, which given the excellent condition of the car, is likely to be correct. The engine number (0512. 87069) has also been confirmed by the Alfa Romeo Club of South Africa as being of the correct series and its original engine from first registration.

The GTV is supplied with an Alfa-Romeo Certificato Di Origine, UK V5C document and invoices for recent specialist works.
