This is my Triumph Herald 16/ 30 red convertible. My first classic and I just don't have the experience or skills to look after it so I want to rehome it. I don't know much about cars so I had classic car specialist write a report before I bought it in 2019 and I have pasted some of those comments below. The car is largely in the same condition apart from a failed starter motor and possibly also the solenoid (according to the AA) so it's currently not driveable. It has been stored under cover in a garage whilst I have owned it.
"Engine .. re-built and seems to run and idle well.
Challenging second gear - which could be due to wear on gears or a synchromesh problem .. but is a common fault with the Herald gearbox.
Suspension and steering are in maintained and good working order.
Exhaust looks as though it has been replaced and is in good condition.
Paint work is reasonable for the age / condition of the vehicle
All interior seats and trim has sign of wear and marks."
Thanks
