1973 DS23 Pallas 5 speed manual, carb
Solid, reliable, much loved DS. Cosmetically smart, but not perfect. Drives beautifully!
New: headlining & C pillar trim, windscreen & frame, roof rails, seals, clutch, timing chain, ignition switch, fuel pump, starter, battery. Gearbox rebuild.
Recent: tyres, spheres, recon carb, steering rack & idler, 123 ignition.
Very original, including Tabac leather interior which obviously has "patina". New matching head restraints and rear seatbelts. I have owned the car for 9 years. Originally from South of France and imported by French Classics. Mostly maintained by Pallas Auto, who could give an objective appraisal. Only upcoming job that I'm aware of is that the exhaust will need replacing soon.
In summary, a great drivers car and would suit somebody who wants to use her and have fun. If you're after a pampered podium princess you probably want to keep looking, and you'll need to spend more!
