For Sale is a partly restored Sunbeam Harrington Le Mans. If you know these cars; then you know how rare the Harrington's are and the price nice restored ones can demand.
The previous owner was a Sunbeam Harrington enthusiast who discovered the car, unused since the 1980's and bought it to restore.
The Harrington Alpine was given to a garage that did some restoration work.
The engine and axles were removed for the welding of the chassis and replacement of the front wings, sills, rear wheel arches and the like.
The front and rear axles were removed and refurbished.
The engine was also overhauled.
It was intended that the garage should complete the whole job, however circumstances changed and the restoration could not be completed.
I bought the car to complete the restoration but having retired for health reasons I am not going to be able to do the restoration .
