1990 Alfa 33 with the 1. 7 litre twin Dellorto engine and the steering wheel on the left. Think of a fast modern Alfa Sud but better built.
The car was completely rebuilt (back to a bare shell) around 10 years ago, the previous owner purchased and imported her from sunny (and dry) Portugal around 5 years ago.
Since then the following has been carried out cambelts and tensioners, rebuilt carbs, fitted complete new OEM exhaust system, lowered with H&R springs and recently fitted new pads and discs, new ignition system. Has good uniroyal rain sports all round, and has been thoroughly serviced.
Mileage estimated at around 100k, it’s had replacement UK spec clocks fitted, the mot history shows the car had around 150k km’s / 93, 000 miles in 2018 when the clocks were changed.
Great fun on a twisty B-road and also sits happily at motorway speeds and higher, lots of Italian character and surprisingly quick. Very solid car, not patched up or full of body filler like most are, factory spot welds visible on rear arches etc and floor pans still have the original coating on them.
Mot till November, a depreciation proof modern classic with rarity and condition on its side.
