Description
This is a 1998 version Senna no 153. and has under gone a full nut and bolt rebuild by Ducati trained technician, St Neots Bedfordshire in 2015.
All documentation and photos of the build can be supplied .
All bearings, seals, rockers springs bearings, replaced most were off out of spec. All fasteners cleaned and recoated . Genuine Ducati part used on all replacement parts, heance the large receipt bills.
It’s been kept in a heated room and only covered 450 miles in that time, now showing 7541 miles .
low mileage example, you can rest assured that the condition is exactly as you would expect from Appreciating Classics – Beautiful.
It’s not full standard as it came with a full carbon Airbox and also Carbon cam belt covers, it’s also got an after market Slipper clutch ( which is from the US I think.)
It’s currently on stands front and back so off the ground. As part of the rebuild it had new tyres which still have the nobbly bits on the outer edge .
It’s currently sitting with Marchesini wheels, however I do have the original three spoke wheels which will go with it as part of the sale .
With the works with all genuine Ducati parts comes in around 10K.
I’ve only covered 450 miles since the works were undertaken and it’s still in showroom condition .
I can supply full photo documentation and invoices/ receipts to back this add up with .
Included within the history file are all keys, all booklets, some old MOT certificates, some magazine articles .
This Ducati is only 1 of 300 her in the UK and as much is a rare bike in Black one of the later bikes produced .
The Senna III came along in 1998, and the bike here is one of those. The body colour switched to black, a carbon mudguard and airbox were added to the already comprehensive spec sheet.
This example is perfect for a superbike collection, or indeed a Ducati enthusiast who has been looking for an excellent example to enjoy on dry days and high days as well as an appreciating investment .
