The greatest summer daily driver? We have handled the sale of dozens of 997s over the years but perhaps our favourite iteration is the utterly ballistic yet perfectly tractable 997 Turbo. These twin turbo charged, flat 6 rocket ships can feel like a comfy Golf when left in Automatic and comfort modes when crawling in traffic but are still fast by today’s standards.
Our car was delivered new on 09/ 05/ 08 by Porsche Glasgow. It was ordered in Basalt Black metallic with a Black Leather interior, Black soft top roof and Diamond Cut wheels. It’s full options list as follows:

Today the car has covered 57, 700 miles and has had 5 owners in total. The car presents very well throughout and drives exactly as it should, testament to the love and care it has received over the years. This has all been documented in the car’s accompanying history folder that contains many invoices. The car also comes with its full Porsche book pack.

In 2021, the car was subject to £10, 700 worth of work at Addspeed Porsche consisting of new coolant hoses, new heat shields and recondition both Turbos. In doing so, this tackled a lot of the known foibles of the 997. 1 Turbo. The tyres and TPS sensors were last changed in 2017 (about 7, 000 miles ago) for correct Pirelli P Zeros that show very little wear. All new brake discs, pads, clips, sensors etc. were fitted by Carrera Performance in 2014.
The Turbo is MOT’d until until February 2024. As with all of our vehicles, we have a digital folder available on request containing more images, walkaround videos, pictures of the underside and scans of the service history.
