1641 Engine, type 1 2”narrowed beam running on staggered set of cosmics, front disc brake conversion & front and rear air shocks run off compressors with period munroe controls/ gauges.
Amazingly solid and rust free underneath but with the awesome patina preserved and lacquered to give it the look.
Original Solex carbs professionally rebuilt, an original Bosch correct distributer fitted, 2 new rear Gabriel air shocks fitted, period Blaupunkt radio and period front fog lamp fitted and wired, bluetooth amp fitted for wireless music playback, wiring loom checked and repaired, replaced cracked dash top.
Internally the car is fantastic, front seats and door cards replaced, rear seat is original, original headliner , upgraded AAC steering wheel which looks fantastic and a big improvement on stock, working period Blaupunkt radio, heating works!Ready to drive into the new VW season!
