Welcome to the sale of this beautiful 1969 Triumph Daytona Super Sports with matching engine/ frame numbers.
The chrome and paint work is exceptional and rolls on original Dunlop rims with stainless spokes, stainless mudguards original Smiths speedo/ rev counter and runs as an excellent example should.
The Daytona has had a top end rebuild including new pistons, valve guides etc and electronic ignition and modern fuse upgrade.
Owned by the current female owner since 2015 who is only selling as she’s moved overseas.

Edward Turner, the Triumph twin designer intended the twin to be a 500 and this is the spec in its final incarnation with the attractive looks of the 69 Suoer Sports model.
This bike is an exceptionally good looking machine with its bright two tone tank and US style extra chrome parts. 8 out of 10 Triumphs of this period were exported to the USA and this one returned to the UK in 2002.
