Triumph TR3 Roadster.
We have been consigned by our client to sell this lovely example of the TR3 Roadster. Superbly finished in English white coachwork detailed with chrome bumpers and fixtures and completed with bright white wheels.
The interior is completed with red seats black piping to red dash surround, black centre panel with chrome edged clocks. Wooden and alloy 3 spoke riveted steering wheel and black carpets.
The TR3 Comes with soft top hood and side windows completed in black.
The engine bay is in very good condition and the alloy twin carburettor’s have been polished to high gloss alloy along with a chrome rocker cover.
The TR3 Drives superb with plenty of power and torque on tap along with good brakes and a nice gear change.
The TR3 Is presented in very good condition, the bodywork is very clean and presentable with some very minor defects to a few of the edges that show some very minor surface rust starting to form. The seems are all in good condition and rust free as are the interior panels. The interior is superb and without cosmetic flaw.
Mechanically the TR3 Is very good, starts on the button and runs very smooth with all items working as they should.
The TR3 Has a lovely history with 3 folders of information, including receipts for works carried out dating right back to the cars early life. information and letters from previous owners and a clear trail of the cars life, the present day owner also kept a fully documented journal of the car and all they done in their ownership. A very nice and interesting read.
The TR3 Started life in the sunny state of California in it’s original colour scheme of English white with black interior, The car was painted green before being repainted in English white whilst in the Us.
The TR3 Was imported to the UK In 1993 and has had 4 UK Owners along with 2 Owners in the United states.
