1969 Volkswagen Type 3 Fastback. This car was recently imported from south Africa where it has been since new in 1969. Its a solid tidy old car which starts and runs. Theres been a bit of money spent on it but doesnt look to have been used much since. It will require a check over and a bit fettling. We have all the paperwork and will complete everything for the new owner to Uk register it. Its very solid underneath and doesnt look to have been welded.
Body - Very solid looking old car. Floors look all original . All panels look fairly straight. Paintwork is perfectly useable with some minor marks. If you wanted a show car youd need to paint it. Overall a lovely looking old car which is very original.
Mechanics - 1600 engine which starts and runs no problem. Not really been used much recently. Gearbox, brakes and clutch seem ok. The car will need a good checkover before being used in anger. Engine sounds Ok. Looks to have had a few quid spent as new alternator, coil, leads, etc
Interior - All in good order. Grey seats which look to have been retrimmed, as do the doorcards. Very tidy but not 100 percent original.
Wheels - Aftermarket rims which dont really suit it to be honest.
