We are delighted to present this lovely 1978 BMW R100RS with original luggage. Cosmetically the bike is in good condition all over. There are some signs of ageing as you would expect but overall she is excellent.
Mechanically, she has had everything done to bring her back to good performance: new tyres and inner tubes, new front left caliper, new brake pads, new brake hoses, new gearbox oil and engine oil, new air filter and a new battery. The carbs have been completely rebuilt with new diaphragms. She starts on the button and sounds delightful.
The R100RS was the cream of the crop when it was released and this one has been well cared for throughout its life as well as carefully prepared for this sale.
This is a really excellent example. A very special machine.
