A serious piece of motoring engineering, this Japanese market-only Civic Type-R FD2 is not for the faint hearted. Very few would have had the opportunity to appreciate just how individual and special this car is and for those few with the knowledge would agree that this is the ultimate Civic Type-R ever produced. In our opinion, this is not only one of the rarest cars on UK roads, but it is one of the best driving cars.
Many will know that over the past couple of years certain JDM car prices have rocketed and none more so than this FD2. To source one from Japan in today’s market at the prices currently achieved would scare off the keenest enthusiasts. With this excellent example having been in the UK since 2018, we were very fortunate to be able to purchase this from a serious Honda enthusiast at a realistic price.
With a modest 74, 000 miles recorded, it remains in excellent original condition all round, and the bodywork and interior are to a very high standard and will pass any inspection you wish to have.
Furthermore, the car has been mechanically maintained extremely well and benefits from a comprehensive service history and a recent refurbishment to the gearbox. During it’s time in the UK it's been serviced regularly.
