This Alfa Romeo collection reflects the owner's taste for special versions. This holds true for this Alfasud Sprint from the Grand Prix limited series, which has a special finish with bumpers and protective strips in the same colour as the bodywork, black decorative strips and lines, the inscription "Grand Prix" on both sides of the rear windscreen, a double exhaust, headlight washers, special eight-hole wheel rims and, on the inside, tweed seats and door panels.
This car also possesses bodywork in great condition: while this model is known to suffer from rampant corrosion, we detected very little rust in the usual places. On the other hand, the paint, which is now more matte and darker than when new, is poorly applied, although the engine compartment is extremely sound. The seats are protected by covers and the gearstick knob is an accessory.
This model is equipped with a 1, 500 cm3 4-cylinder Veloce which, thanks to its 105 bhp power and limited weight, means it has enviable handling: from a standing start, it covers 1 km in 32 seconds.
This lovely car requires a routine service. Once the paintwork has been redone, this little coupé will have a beguiling allure to match its sporty personality and melodious mechanical components.
