This high-end saloon car has a very good provenance since it was used as a company car by Alfa Romeo France's director, ownership evidenced by its service logbook stating that Alfa Romeo France was the first owner.
The glossy brown paintwork on this car seems old but still looks good, even if we did notice some signs of pitting corrosion around the windshield and the underbody which will need to be addressed. In order to retain the beautiful original condition of this car, it will therefore be necessary to amend these imperfections before they get worse. The windshield also has a chip.
The interior is beautifully crafted, with comfortable and well-preserved velvet seats. Their electric adjustment conveys the grandiose personality of this Alfa Romeo saloon car, which also includes spacious rear seats with folding armrest. It is equipped with a Blaupunkt car radio with cassette player.
This specific car is a "Quadrifoglio Oro" version, fitted with the 2. 5-litre V6 injection engine producing over 150 hp, which gave it a sporty personality also thanks to its gearbox grille set up with a shifted first gear. With its typical 1980s style and as a former Alfa France company car, this interesting car is a milestone in the history of the brand when it comes to high-end saloon cars, between the 2600 which preceded it and the 164 which superseded it.
