Part of the late Alan Elderton Collection
The MV Agusta 125cc production racer built from 1953 to 1956
Fitted with a four-stroke 125cc OHC single-cylinder engine with a Dell'Orto carburettor
Originally fitted with an aluminium dustbin fairing until they were banned due to safety concerns
This particular example was bought from the factory and raced by Norman Webb at the Isle of Man TT, finishing 8th in 1953
Other successes include 1st at Brands Hatch 1953, 1st at Blandford 1954 and 1st at the Sunbeam Sprint in 1954
Purchased by Alan in 1985 as a project from Norman and restored to its current condition
Very well-known bike and displayed at numerous events over the years, winning many awards and featured in numerous magazines over the years
Paraded by Alan at the 2005 Isle of Man TT with CD of photos
Complete with some used spare parts (as pictured), history file containing MV Agusta factory letter to Norman Webb, factory instructions, various race results, magazine articles (copies included), newspaper articles and photos
Will require some recommissioning before use
