Stunning series 1 E-type for sale. Original UK market RHD car.
As this is a very early series 1. 5 coupé, it retains all specifications of the series 1, except for the open headlight bonnet.
The car was imported to Germany many decades ago and sympathetically nut and bolt restored 25 years ago.
Recently, it benefitted from a professional respray in Carmen Red so the paintwork is without blemishes and very appealing. All chrome is lovely with only slight patina.
During the restoration, a replacement bonnet and front engine/ suspension carriers were used and all rusted metal was replaced.
The car starts and runs very well with good oil pressure. It sounds great too! The engine is not matching numbers but of a period correct non-E-type type.
The interior was refurbished in leather. Although very clean, this area could do with some work to make a bit more factory spec.
A great chance to buy a lovely series 1 E-type 2-seater at a correct price.
