This Superb Genuine Right Hand Drive Karmann Convertible Beetle 1303 1600 Twin Port was originally ordered and registered new to Black and white garages VW March 1979 being the last year of production having had only had 5 previous owners from new the last fastidious owner for 9 years.
Being one of only 250 built from 1973 to 1979 she’s Finished in rare Brazil brown with Van Dyck upholstery and original Pale sand hood she has never been restored just very well maintained and serviced.
Repainted once over 12 years ago she looks resplendent and factory fresh the underside being as clean as the paintwork without any of the black underseal so often applied on 1970s classics.
There’s a great history file complete with handbooks etc and even a hand written log book chronologically itemising service work and travels in the uk and Europe over the past 9 years.
On the road she is a brisk and tight example feeling very dependable as only German built cars can.
These are super rare now and a very easy classic car to live with and enjoy.
