Description
INT. CODE: SUZ00011
It is assumed with a good approximation that fewer than 10 XR 69 examples were built and all powered by Suzuki GS1000.
Suzuki in the early 80s turned to Harris, a well-known British frame builder of the time, for a rep transformation
Joseph "Joey" Dunlop rode a Suzuki GS1000 several times at the Isle of Man TT and can be considered one of the greatest motorcycle racers of all time, having won this trophy 26 times in what is considered one of the most grueling and dangerous in the world.
This bike was instead powered by Kawasaki Z900, thanks to the various trainers who at the time ventured into the enterprise (Bimota, Wiseco, Carillo, Termignoni, Yoshimura, Mesturino) and in Italy it was used for races by Angelo Rolfo, with Mesturino tuning by Casale Monferrato, with Tig welded aluminum exhausts (Tungsten Inert Gas). De Carbon shock absorber.
Today HARRIS re-proposes for sale the replica of the Suzuki motorized model, according to the original standards of the time, at prices over €50, 000.
Barters and exchanges with vintage cars and motorbikes are accepted.
Viewable at our showroom in Reggio Emilia, Via Daniele da Torricella 29.
