Launched in 1959, the W111 was quickly dubbed the Heckflosse (Fintail) in Germany
This right-hand drive car was fully prepared for historic rallying in 1999 by Martin Cushway
A new engine was sourced in Germany in 1999 and rebuilt in 2006
Specification includes a full roll-cage, front disc brakes, underside skid protection, fire extinguishers, full safety harness/ belts, race/ rally front seats, upgraded suspension with Bilstein shocks, heavy-duty springs together with the addition of an upgraded torsion bar
Complete with a Brantz timer and other rally-related equipment
Has successfully competed in major regularity rallies since 1999 including the Monte Carlo Challenge, HERO Le Jog, Historic Van Vlaandern, The Scottish Malts and The Three Castles
