Bentley launched this limited Le Mans editions to celebrate the occasion of Bentley's return after 71 years to racing at Le Mans. Production was planned of 50 Le Mans editions of the Continental R Mulliner. Actually 46 examples were manufactured. The Continental R Le Mans was a specially enhanced edition of the Continental R Mulliner.

Recent History
Subject to a Global Refresh by Phantom Motor Cars Ltd finalised in late 2023 to include a No 3 Hydraulic Service. New front & rear brake calipers in red. New brake discs & pads. Front and Rear Suspension rebuild with new Caster & Camber Complaint Bushes. CCD1000 4-Wheel alignment. Thereafter, a bare metal (Glass out) repaint was completed (Photographs on file). Significant attention to detail has been lavished on this Bentley. Fine-tuned in every respect. Any Inspection is openly encouraged.
The bodywork can be accurately described as Concours Condition and is without a chip, scratch or blemish anywhere. Runner-up at the Hampton Court Bentley Drivers Club Concours of Elegance on September 3rd 2023
