Description
The 3CE was a UK only model the "E" standing for England. It was basically a 3C with a free flowing exhaust system fitted by Slater brothers who were the UK importers and the people that got Laverda so well established in the UK. It was only produced for 1975 before the cast wheel 3CL model was introduced in 1976 making it a very rare model and being one of the last wire wheeled triples built also makes it one of the best with many of the teething problems of the previous 3 years production ironed out.
This particular example is in lovely condition, has matching numbers and comes with a Slaters certificate verifying it's authenticity, it also has it's original handbook and comes with lot's of old MOT certificates and invoices backing up it's cared for history, it was also featured in Classic Bike magazine in December 2012.
