This XK140 left the factory with a Jaguar supplied C-Type cylinder head. A sought-after upgrade determining this XK140 a SE, Special Equipment Model. The Jaguar Heritage Certificate confirms this. It also believed to be one of only 4 cars in Mediterranean blue.
Noteworthy upgrades have been incorporated into this masterpiece including:
JD Sport Touring specification engine. This engine features the car's original 'C' Type cylinder head, providing optimal performance. The car also boasts a JD Sport 5-speed gearbox, a limited-slip differential, a handmade stainless steel manifold and exhaust system, and 2-inch sandcast SU carburettors. In addition, it showcases an uprated JD Sport alternator, JD Sport front and rear disc brakes, JD Sport power steering and suspension handling package, JD Sport high-efficiency alloy radiator (original supplied) equipped with an electric cooling fan, inertia reel seat belts, a Moto- Lita steering wheel, and a fire extinguisher. Restoration
In 2005-6 the car was restored over an 18 month period by JD Classics. After a meticulous chassis-off restoration and final assembly by JD Classics, this vehicle has been impeccably maintained and has only accumulated limited miles. Consequently, it remains in fantastic condition, presenting a unique opportunity to acquire a highly sought-after classic Jaguar that offers modern high-performance sports handling.
