This handsome Shovelhead has just arrived with us. An original frame and motor 1979 Harley-Davidson FXE Super Glide that has been tastefully customised and also retains the bulk of its original parts too that have been removed but come included with the bike.
The FXE is a sought after Shovelhead given its factory fitted electric start. This makes the bike so much easier to manage and use regularly. Its most recent owner, who is well known to us, has enjoyed the bike and ridden it often during their ownership. It has proven to be reliable and has required nothing but routine maintenance during their time with it.
This Super Glide is correctly UK registered on an age appropriate plate as a 1979 Harley-Davidson. It has been fitted with S&S cylinder head and carburettor, expensive items that have further increased the reliability but also the performance of the motor too.
In addition to what you see in the photographs, the bike also comes with a big box of parts (tanks etc.) that used to be fitted to the bike.
The bike runs and rides exactly as you'd hope. An awesome machine.
As with all of our vehicles, we have a digital folder available on request containing more images, walkaround videos, pictures of the underside and scans of the service history. The car can be viewed by appointment at our West London showroom.
