The MG TF was one of MG Rover, s swansong models, and probably one of its best. This beautiful MG has covered just 27, 000 miles and has had just two owners from new. Being one of the very last Longbridge original TFs this model was fitted with the softer ride suspension from standard and came with a glass rear window. These cars are desirable as they represent the zenith of the all-British TF range, and the end of an era when the factory closed its doors in April 2005.
Having been cherished by the previous keeper the car is in beautiful condition throughout and still retains its original dealers wallet, service and handbook as well as 2 keys and a history file containing bills, invoices and old mot certificates confirming the low mileage.
Fitted with the 1. 8 K Series engine and most importantly the head gasket, water pump and cam belt were replaced at 24, 000 miles, by the recognised MGF specialists 'Trophy Cars Ltd.
Many classic MG owners are now adding TF's to their stable as they are so practical and easy to drive having modern attributes like power steering, central locking, ABS brakes and airbags yet with the traditional open air motoring benefits and a link to MG heritage. Equipped with the factory supplied hardtop added to which, the car is low mileage and in great condition making it an attractive proposition for both summer and winter months. Current Mot until August 2024 with no advisories.
