Newly arrived from South Africa and now UK registered this 610 series Datsun Bluebird 180U is fitted with the rugged and reliable L series 1800cc engine. A very solid running driving car that has history showing just two owners from new and the original sales invoice from June 1974 is present in the file.
Ready to roll, It can be used 'as is' and improved upon as and when if so desired. It has had a life and that character shows through with minor dents and scapes here and there all adding to the charm and patina. The interior vinyl seats have rips and tears in places with top of the rear seats being the worst area and will require re-trimming to some extent.
There is minor rust in the lower door skin areas below the swage line so remedial work would be needed in the longer term but structurally the car is super solid throughout with floors, wheel arches and wings all in sound original condition.
Whilst we are predominantly S30/ 130 Z/ ZX enthusiasts/ owners having imported many of these cars over the years, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to bring this RHD Bluebird back to the UK as there are not many of these older cars left here at all nowadays. 918 orange, a great fun 70's colour, this is a worthy and easy project. Price is firm.
