A very pretty post-war example with rigid frame and telescopic forks and attractive chrome tank with lined out wheels. The BSA Owner's Club Dating Certificate shows this matching numbers B31 was shipped directly from the factory to Simminous Bros, Cyprus on 26th August 1947. Other paperwork on file shows it to have been repatriated in 1993, having enjoyed a favourable climate for the previous 46 years. In a private museum since 2011 with occasional use, started recently, the usual wet sumping will need to be addressed along with light recommissioning.
