The Karmann Ghia combined the chassis and mechanicals of the Type 1 and the stylish coachwork of Luigi Segre of the Italian Carrozzeria Ghia, and hand built bodywork by the German coachbuilder Karmann. This meant it was incredible to look at, beautifully made and simple to maintain, an enviable combination.
The car presents well having been previously restored and remains very original throughout having maintained its original wheels and features. Finished in stunning Paprika red with a white roof, the most popular colour scheme from our market research. Complete with the elusive certificate of authenticity from Germany to confirm the buses provenance and manufacturing dates from new.
