Description
The Fiat X19 was launched in 1972 and was the world's first truly successful mass-produced mid engined sportscar. Designed by Bertone the world famous Italian design house. The classic 70s wedge shape, the styling was derived from Berone's earlier Autobianchi Runabout concept car, inspired by the power boats of the late 1960s. Endowed with superb handling thanks to its perfect weight distribution, it was powered initially by a 75 bhp 1. 3 litre (later replaced by a 1. 5 unit) and four speed gearbox from a Fiat 128.
The very low mileage example we offer here was first registered in the August of 1988 and was supplied by the then Birmingham Fiat distributors Colmore Depot. Being of that vintage the car is the later 1500 cc engine, 5speed gearbox version. The car has covered a warranted 14, 172 from new. To back this very low mileage the car comes with all the service history from new including the driver's original Fiat service book with 12 service stamps from new and all the car's MOT certificates from 3 years old. The history file also contains the original Fiat bookpack with warranty cards, drivers handbook and Fiat service directory.
A unique opportunity for the Fiat enthusiat to acquire a well preserved example of a Fiat X19 with amazingly low mileage which is ready to use and show.
