In 2005, the sixth generation Porsche 911 came onto the market. This new Porsche, also referred to as 997, was the first series on which the headlights so characteristic of the 911 were reinstated. Initially, the 997 series was only supplied as Carrera and Carrera S. In later years, versions such as the GT3, Targa 4(S) and Turbo were added. Where the Carrera with its 3. 6 liter engine already had 325 hp, the engine of the Carrera S is no less than 3. 8 liters and the engine power has increased to 355 hp. In combination with the tiptronic, this makes it possible to achieve the well-known acceleration from 0 to 100 km/ h in just 4. 8 seconds. The specified top speed, not restricted by a speed limiter, is no less than 293 km/ h. Even by today's standards, these are still not bad figures...

A Porsche is in many ways a top experience, but this specific 911 has just that little bit extra to give you the feeling of owning something special: in our opinion, this Carrera S is more than brilliantly put together. The Guards red exterior color in combination with the beautiful dark blue leather interior is certainly not an average combination, but gives the Porsche a particularly fresh look. Just like the way the 911 jumps off your screen, the car is also experienced in real life. What a clean and fresh example this original Dutch delivered Porsche is. The car largely has its original paint and the upholstery shows hardly any traces of use. Clearly a 911 that has been cherished.

As with any Porsche 911, it is a joy to hear the engine as soon as it is started. The boxer engine creates the typical and recognizable Porsche sound. As soon as the Tiptronic is put into drive, you can enjoy the sublime road holding for which the 911 is known. In combination with this gearbox, the Carrera S is a real all-rounder: the car can be driven wonderfully lazy, making it ideal for daily use, but the sporty driver is also perfectly served. Due to the fact that this is a Carrera S, you can also enjoy the fine xenon lighting as standard, the beautiful red brake calipers that match well with the Guards red paint, the brightly chromed double exhaust pipes on the left and right side and the beautiful silver-gray dials that enhance the feeling of being on the road with something special. This Carrera S is also equipped with, for example, an original info/ audio/ navigation system, recently upgraded by Porsche, automatic air conditioning and a steel sliding/ tilting roof.

This is an above average and rarely beautiful example, unique due to its perky composition. All booklets are present with the car and the maintenance booklet shows that the car has been maintained punctually and only by an official Porsche dealer or a real Porsche specialist (see the photos of the maintenance booklet on the Classic Park website). The car recently received maintenance at Porsche center Gelderland.
