We love these Range Rover Classics and they are getting harder and harder to find! This is a lovely 1993 Range Rover Vogue SE finished in Westminster Grey with Dark Sable Leather, it is the far more desirable SE, so has Air Conditioning, Cruise Control and Wood Trim inside. She has covered 109k Miles from new, which is quite low for one of these! and has a good history with all the original books including the service book with 14 stamps. She drives well, has a new Bluetooth Stereo fitted and is ready for daily use!
An outstanding landmark design that almost single-handedly created the booming market in dual-purpose 4x4s, the Range Rover was greeted with universal acclaim on its release and has remained the class leader, despite ever increasing foreign and domestic competition, ever since. The Range Rover was greeted enthusiastically by both press and public on its arrival in 1970, offering comfortable cruising at 90mph and a greater off-road capability than most of its customers would ever need. The fact that the original lasted in production for an amazing 24 years before being replaced in 1994 only serves to illustrate the soundness of the original concept. Indeed, the 'old' Range Rover - evocatively renamed Range Rover Classic - did not disappear immediately but continued to be built for another year alongside the new version.
Our car has an interesting history, It was ordered new on the 11th May 1993 from Broadfields in Cockfosters by a Mr Hitchins of Welyn in Hertfordshire and he specified a top of the range Vogue SE in Westminster Grey with Dark Sable Leather, the perfect combination and still looks amazing today. He kept the car for 3 years and 40k Miles, always servicing it at Broadfields then part exchanged it back with them. Broadfields then sold the car in 1996 to the Indonesian Embassy in Grosvenor Square in London, they kept the car on diplomatic plates and held onto it until 1999 and 62k Miles, when it was returned to UK plates and has only had a further 3 owners to date. The mileage has crept up to 109k Miles today and she is still in very good health and I am using her daily. The car looks great, the interior looks like 50k Miles and she comes with a fresh MOT, HPI Clear, and a £1, 500 service last year including a full brake overhaul including all Discs, Pads and Calipers. This is a last of the line Hard Dash car with all the options you need and in the perfect colours, she also has the Later Silver Alloy wheels fitted, which set off the car. This is a really straight and honest car, perfect for daily use and improve.
