Here is a lovely old Series 3 hardtop. Its a 2. 5 diesel which starts and runs very well. Mechanically the Land Rover has been given a full going over and had a number of things done prior to sale.
New front springs
New swivel housings and front driveshaft UJs rebuilt
Front wheel bearings and brakes
All gearbox, diff transfer box oils replaced
New wheels and tyres all round
New rear seat conversion
There is a folder of invoices and stuff from over the years, not a FSH but shows that it has been cared for.
The chassis is original and very solid, it has had a couple of patches but they look to have been done well, the chassis hasn't been covered in underseal to hide anything either. It has been lanoguarded and we would recommend annual top ups moving forward.
Bits of it have been painted at some point and its not perfect but it all kind of adds to the Patina and is overall a lovely old thing and really needs to be seen to be fully appreciated
It is Tax and MOT exempt and is then of course ULEZ exempt ironically for an old sooty diesel
