The bodywork is in close to immaculate condition showing only the most minor of tiny age related marks. It looks fabulous in deep blue contrasting with the lighter interior colour. It presents very well indeed and walking around the car, it is easy to forget that this it is almost quarter of a century old. The x100 shape has aged beautifully and surely is considered a modern classic!
Inside the car too can confidently be described as being close to perfect. The leather is excellent, the driver's seat has almost no wear, the wood finishers and trim are like new as is the headliner. All the usual Jaguar spec is there including electric windows, electric seats, electric mirrors, air-con, original Jaguar stereo with CD changer. Even the electric aerial works correctly!
On the road the XK8 drives as well as the day it left the factory. Sounds fabulous on start up. No bumps, clunks or rattles from the suspension, lots of power from the 4. 0 V8 that is transferred to the road effortlessly thanks to the 5 speed automatic gearbox with ‘Sport’ function.
The car retains its original Jaguar alloy wheels, all of which are in immaculate order and shod with excellent tyres.
The car has a part service history including a recent full service with a bill for over £1000. The car comes with its original service booklet as well as all relevant vehicle manuals/ wallets 2 keys and green 'valet' key. The unsused space-saver spare wheel and toolkit are present in the boot.
