This fabulous UK supplied MG TD has covered less than 100 miles since build and is ready for a new owner to run in and enjoy. Purchased as a rebuild project over 15 years ago, this is one of several retirement projects by the former owner of a family run Austin Rover retail dealership in Wiltshire. We have rebuild photographs of the new bare ash frame, the fully rebuilt engine, gearbox, axle, and the car as a rolling chassis. Completed in 2022, the car has had initial testing and a few trips totaling just 92 miles before its arrival here. The car is still ‘running in’
This is an extremely rare opportunity to purchase a 70 year-old MG built by an expert who had all the skills and original dealer expertise to do a first class job. Finished in Cream with a red leather interior and full beige weather equipment and carpets, its a beautiful specimen of the marque. Since this superb car is almost as shiny underneath as from above, we recommend the new owner have us clear wax the underbody prior to regular use. TDs with their precise rack and pinion steering and excellent road holding have that wonderful combination of a car with pre-war looks that is very much a fifties car to drive.
