Registration number: SM54 FZX.
Finished in rare Firesfrost Red with a black/ grey half leather/ alcantara interior the car is in very good condition throughout especially considering it is now 20 years old.
The bodywork is super straight with excellent panel gaps and only the very merest of marks commensurate with the age of the vehicle. The paint finish is very nice and appears to be mostly all original.
The interior is also very very good with only some minimal wear to the driver's seat, the others are all excellent. The surrounding trim is all in good condition. Specification includes 4 x electric windows, electric mirror adjust, CD/ Radio, Air-con/ climate. The car still has its original luggage cover and has a built in dog net. Also included is an original boot liner which in itself is quite rare.
The car is fitted with 18” 'Straight' alloy wheels that are in good order with only some minor marks, and the often tarnished centres have been recently replaced with new items. The car carries its original spare wheel and tool kit.
On the road the car performs faultlessly. From start up the 2. 0 diesel is quiet with no smoke and offers ample performance as well as being famously reliable and economical. The 5 speed manual gearbox is smooth and precise in operation, the suspension is firm and assured with no undue clunks or knocks making the MG a pure joy to drive. It really does drive very very well and having just turned 100'000 miles has many many more years and miles left in it.
The car comes with some service and maintenance records helping to document the low miles and has a good MOT history. It has its original handbook/ stamped service book.
An excellent opportunity to aquire an increasingly rare ZT-T in a sought after colour that will surely increase in value and collectability as time moves on or just use it as an interesting daily driver? I've been using the car myself for a number of weeks and I really can't fault it but I am very much a 75/ ZT fan!
