DESCRIPTION
Arriving in 1994 to the UK the Impreza Turbo 2000 AWD had input from Prodrive to finesse the design and ensure the weight be kept to a minimum to endorse its rally pedigree.
EXTERNAL
Finished in Subaru ‘Deep Blue Pearl Metallic’ (paint code 95H) the panels present glossy and uniformed, With the large bonnet scoop sitting centre stage ensuring as much air as possible can enter the intercooler with two matching heat displacement vents sat neatly on each side. The wrap around colour coded front bumper with its large open mouthed scoop enabling as much air as possible to enter the engine for cooling purposes, With large round fog lights sitting on both sides along with genuine Subaru headlights with the additional headlamp washers. Bumper sits scuff free and straight and true. Being the 4-door version sill body mouldings in black run down each flank and around the rear colour coded bumper all of which sits consistent with the low miles this vehicle displays. With colour coded electrically operated door mirrors and colour coded door handles. All exterior rubbers sit neat and crisp.
INTERNAL
Upon opening the drivers or passenger side front door you instantly feel the rally theme with sporty bucket seats fitted to the front in Black/ Blue Silver fleck cloth(Trim Code 830) with Silver highlights presenting in the best of condition along with the rears, Matching door cards finished in the matching cloth trim and light grey plastics. With twin adjustment on the driver’s seat working as intended. The light grey headlining’s in pristine condition with centre interior light along with drivers and passengers map reading lights. Dashboard presents very well in the light grey colour with no fade, Glove box located on the passenger side along with the passenger side airbag located above, To the left a square directional heater vents located. Moving to the centre of the dash  a push button cubby holes located with the flap working as intended, Sitting under you have two more directional heater control vents a pull out drinks holder and push button heated rear window switch and hazard warning switch. Sitting a little under you have the rotary heater directional switch along with the toggle switch for the interior fans heater. Factory fit Subaru push button radio cassette still remains and in full working order(will come with the vehicle), Originality maintained. Early nineties cigarette lighter and pull out ashtray complements the remainder. A large oval binnacle sits in front of the driver housing white backed dials with the fuel and temperature gauge sitting to the left, The speedometer sits in the middle displaying only 17764-miles from new, Tachometer sits to the right, All obligatory warning lights extinguish as intended. With the front and rear fog light switches located to the right hand side of the dash along with the driver’s side directionally controlled heater vent. Centre console runs between the front seats and houses an arm rest come storage cubby hole along with the electrically controlled door mirror switch. The handbrake levers housed in black leather with black stitching along with the gear lever which present in the very best of condition. Overall this low mileage example shows little sign of wear with originality remaining throughout. With the legendary black leather ‘MOMO’ steering wheel fitted again showing little signs of wear with an adjustable steering column housing obligatory indicator stalk on the left and wash/ wipe stalk on the right.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
With its flat four designed turbocharged 4-cylinder 2000cc 16v petrol engine(EJ20) producing 208bhp standard this will keep its own today, With a 0-60mph of approx. 5. 8 seconds.
