Arguably (but IMHO no argument) the best looking incarnation of these legendary "Gixxers" in fact I think the best looking bike of that era (and I love my concours FZR1000 EXUP to bits so that is saying something) which is in excellent condition & has just had a new clutch & carb clean & balance.
Originally a European import (well all Jap bikes are imports at the end of the day!) back in 2014, it comes nice & standard with part history & with all the nice stock parts (even the screen), owners service manual & original sales brochure. I am just about to set about detailing the bike but it is already as you can see very well presented & looks just stunning with the twin headlights, twin exhausts & immaculate white wheels & very good paintwork & the inside of the petrol tank is like new. Only defect to mention which is about a £200 smart repair - a crack on the left front fairing "ear" where the mirror fixes & is very typical of 80's bikes, one knock is all it takes & its a weak spot of the era but an easy fix.
This period of super bikes are just starting to shoot up & tipped as a great investment - especially when you look at the prices of 2-strokes or the likes of "Fizzys" & "Kettles". So this is a lot of rapid & practical bike for your money. I am really surprised at how rare they are too - try finding another blue/ white one with all its original parts including seat cowl in this condition ... you'll struggle!
The bike is currently showing 48, 441 KM's which equates to just 30, 100 miles & the engine is whisper quiet as these are renowned bullet proof units & the bike has blatantly been looked after. Perfect to be ridden & used on a sunny day outing.
I like it so much I seriously considered keeping it for myself but my concours EXUP is too good to let go! So some lucky person will get to own this sexy bike.
