This is a very nice example, with a very comprehensive service history, having been in the last ownerships hands, the last five years.
He indeed purchased it from the original owners son it had been in the family since new.

After 5 and half years of fantastic ownership, I have decided to let my lovely Rover go. This is one of the 200 'FDH' number plate Rover 220 Coupe Turbo models that were originally destined for Japan but had to be returned to the UK due to emissions law changes overseas at the last minute. They were first registered in the UK and returned to full UK-spec before they hit the roads, equipped with the best options available.
I sadly don't get much opportunity to drive the car and I've only covered 3, 000 miles during my ownership. It's never let me down and starts & drives with no issues.
I have garaged the car throughout my ownership, as did the previous owner.   The car comes with lots of history and paperwork from throughout its ownership.
The original Rover radio/ cassette will be supplied with the vehicle. 
MOT valid until October 2024.
Starts and drives with no issues, and no outstanding mechanical problems. 
- The engine is not original but it was replaced with a brand new, genunine MG-Rover engine around 20, 000 miles ago.
- The last owner was a former Rover technician so he maintained the car himself, so there is a gap in the paperwork during that period 
- As I haven't covered many miles, I haven't had much work done outside of regular servicing (annually).

Service records from Rover and more recently with independent garages. Some stamps will be missing as the previous owner maintained it himself.
- Owners manuals and booklets. 
- Large volume of old invoices and paperwork, including the original purchase estimate and quality control documents.
