1973 Lotus Europa 5 Speed Special
Original Mick Millers personal car of Mick Millers Classic Lotus
Supplied to Mick form Lotus Dealer Graham Avery Motors in Kesgrave. In 1975 it was sold to George Mulberry who keep the car until 1989 . Mick Miller subsequently bought the car back where it was left until 2008 when a Mr Brian Goderson bought the car and completed a nut and bolt rebuild on a Spyder chassis. No expenses spared including Stainless steel tank, engine rebuild, interior, full repaint etc etc.
I bought the car in 2013 and have loved the car ever since. Within 2 days of ownership I headed off the Goodwood revival and have never looked back.
Sadly all good things come to an end and it is time to part with my lovely little Europa. My interests have changed more into racing cars instead of road cars and the funds will help toward the restoration of Lotus 20.
The car comes with a history file outlining the above information along with receipts and letters from Lotus cars.
The car had a new head gasket installed during lock down and has had yearly oil changes. A new clutch plate was fitted in 2013 as there was a slight judder. Correct Lotus wheels fitted , not Dunlop wheels that people fit.
Overall a fantastic car and certainly a car of it time.
