Description
1964 Morris Traveller in Smoke Grey. This is a really lovely car that has been lovingly cared for and maintained with no expense spared. It has a huge file of paperwork with it and a massive box of spare parts for the next owner.
Overall it is in very presentable condition, the bodywork is good and has no damage, a couple of marks here and there and a couple of paint touch ups but you really need to go looking for them. The chrome has come up fairly well, wheels and hubcaps are nice and shiny (there is a spare rusty set for winter) The Timberwork is all fairly good with nothing needing immediate attention. We have been told that the rear side window channels have been recently replaced.
There are a few minor spots around the edge of the arches that have been touched in. It appears at some point that the entire car underside has been painted with Red Oxide paint and it appears to have prevented any rust.
The interior is in amazing original condition, with minimal wear to the original vinyl seats. interior fixtures and fittings are again all original. The previous owner has removed all of the carpets and floor and dynamatted the car, so it makes it much quieter at higher speeds
Mechanically it starts and runs perfectly and everything works as it should. The previous owner used this as his daily driver with a mile or two commute, so it has been in regular use, which has certainly helped. It has been converted to disc brakes up front, and has a new full stainless exhaust. It has been upgraded to an electric fuel pump
