1970 MG Midget Chrome Bumper MK III
Registration Number: DOY401J (Also Austrian registered & European Taxes paid.)
We sold this little MG last year to an austrian collector whom now wishes to dispose of it to make room for a pre war Hispano Suiza. It may be viewed in Austria Near Velden & is Austrian Registered as well as UK registered & is thus european taxes paid.
The best we have seen. This MG Midget was restored with no regard to expense using a new heritage body shell. A full photographic record comes with the car detailing the steps taken to make it like new. A thick file of restoration invoices come wth the car detailing the works undertaken upon it by the likes of marque specialists Brown & Gammon.
In addition to the new Body Shell, some modern upgrades were also done including a lovely burr wlnut dash board & a brand new fast road spec 1293cc engine by noted speciaists Oselli built to lead free specification. Lumenition eletronic ignitionwas also fitted with a nod to reliability.
The car is resplendent in like new camine red paintwork with stainless steel sill plates. A modern sound system has also been fitted. The car sits on four brand new knock off wire wheels fitted with almost new tyres. The seats are of beautifully upholstered black leather along with matching black carpets.
The hood is of course brand new & easily folds down after releasing two header catches & two pop off fasteners. A new snap on hood cover also comes with the car.
This car was purchased & prepared for the wife of a prominent car collector whom's high end cars we sold. The MG saw little use after restoration as she preferred to drive the low mileage automatic Jaguar E type that was also in the collection & is now sold.
If you are looking for a fully sorted best in market MG Midget, this example is well worth a look. It is being sold for a fraction of its restoration cost. This is as close to a brand new MG midget as you can get but with sensible upgrades.
