Morris Minor 1000 Convertible - 5 Speed Manual.
We have been consigned by our client to sell this very charming Morris Minor convertible. Finished in classic English white with an ox Red convertible roof and detailed with chrome. Makes for a very nice looking Morris Minor.
The interior is completed with seats to red carpets and English white dash surround all completed with a black and chrome original steering wheel.
The Morris has been with my client for the last 10 Years. Used throughout summer months only and is presented in very good condition both mechanically and cosmetically. A few minor areas to mention is a small amount of surface bubbling to rear panel. Otherwise very good ! Please ask for video as i do show any negative areas within the recording.
The Morris underwent a full restoration from 2012 - 2014. This was a full restoration that also included a new convertible roof and frame along with a full respray new panels seals and interior, carpets etc and many other items replaced. The engine was fully rebuilt in 2009 By the Morris Minor centre and fitted with a 1098 GT Engine. At the time of the restoration a 5 Speed gearbox was fitted from an Austin Morris Marina. I have to say that this transforms the drive and long distance road trips become a pleasure. The Morris has electric start along with a battery isolator along with matching tannoy cover.
We have a folder with many receipts from previous to early days for works maintenance and servicing along with evidence of the restoration and engine build. The Miles are 111000 from new and 25, 000 Since restoration and rebuild. MOT With no advisories until May 2025.
Converted for unleaded fuel along with an electronic ignition and petrol pump fitted making this little morris very reliable.
A genuine well cared for Morris presented in good condition. The bodywork has a some minor cosmetics being a little surface rust to the right of the boot and a crack in the paint on the bonnet as to be expected. Do ask for a video as I show the areas. The car drives very well and is mechanically excellent. The interior is in superb condition with nothing negative to report. Certainly worth taking the time to view if you are in the market for a lovely summer classic.
