Engine/ Transmission:1, 800cc VW Type 1 twin port, air-cooled, flat four-cylinder petrol producing about 90 bhp at 4, 500 rpm (built by Arnie Levics of Somerset). Type 1 Transaxle 4-speed high ratio manual transmission, rear-wheel drive. Stainless steel Monza exhaust system.
Suspension etc:Front independent by torsion beam and trailing arms. Rear independent / trailing arm with CV -jointed drive-shafts.
