Hi, we are Paul Higgs cars based in New Milton in Hampshire.
We specialise in all things Classic Mini but we also have a passion for British Classic Cars and pride ourselves on offering customers the opportunity to get out there and enjoy the fantastic world that these Cars can offer.
We are very pleased to offer a very charming and characterful 1964 Morris Minor Traveller finished in the very period colour of Old English White with a beautiful contrasting red and cream interior and finished off with matching wheels and two period driving lamps. It benefits from having some very useful upgrades such as servo operated brakes, inertia reel seat belts and an unleaded conversion. It is accompanied with a large service history folder including its first service in 1965 at Joseph Cookshoot Garage in Manchester. The service folder spans 60 years as it has just had its big birthday and will have many more ahead of it.
On the road the Morris is very easy and rewarding to drive. The global following these wonderful cars have is well deserved. Travellers are blessed with fantastic all round visibility making them a very popular Classic Car as they are so fun and versatile. The 1098cc engine fires instantly, turn the key, pull the start button and off you go. The gearbox is also typically Morris, easy to use and positive. The servo assisted brakes are also a big advantage. The Morris performs very well and cruises with ease.
The interior is very well presented and in a fantastic original condition. The red and cream seat pattern really sets the car off against the paintwork, many Travellers have just black seats so this one really stands out from the crowd. It has a recent red carpet set and Morris rubber over matts. The original steering wheel is present and correct and the load area is well detailed. This Morris also has the added bonus of inertia reel seat belts and rear seat belts so all of the family can enjoy it.
The Morris is presented in good useable condition which is surely the ethos of these ever popular Classics. Its not a restored trailer queen but ready and able to take you anywhere and be admired by many. The shell is in solid condition and the bodywork is very presentable and for its 60 year vintage it is in fine fettle. The wood is in very good order throughout.
The Morris is fully serviced, checked and driven and although it is MOT and Tax exempt it has a long MOT, as sure sign of a cared for example.
Viewings are welcome and I am happy to answer questions you may have either through here or on the details below or the details below. (Paul)
