Hello It is with great sadness that I have to part with my Mercedes 450SL of May 1972 imported from the USA at the end of 2019. This is the first model for North America with the small bumpers and bumpers. The body has been restored to a body, all floors + full paint in its original colour.
Very many expenses , very very many new parts (all photos on request and parts list) For example: fuel tank, complete exhaust, carpets, original carpets, left and right rear-view mirrors, soundproofing for engine bonnet and passenger compartment..... New soft top supplied with its body-coloured hardtop.
Remaining to be reassembled: Ideally, a new engine wiring harness (the original one is 52 years old and therefore in poor condition) The car is 99% complete, with perhaps a few screws or bolts missing. All exterior parts to be reassembled and fittings (headlights, fog lights, trim, doors, bonnet, boot)......
The interior, with the exception of the dashboard and centre console (new), has new carpets, upholstery as new and soundproofing to be refitted. This is an enthusiast's car for an enthusiast, with a collector's registration document in my name. Reasonably negotiable price For a serious buyer, no time to be wasted on outlandish offers. Asking price: €19, 000 to be discussed or bid for.
