ASTON MARTIN V12 VANQUISH S 527CV 2005 - The First Generation V12 Vanquish, codenamed "AMV03", was designed by Ian Callum and was shown to the press and potential customers in October 2000 and then presented to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2001. The V12 Vanquish was featured in the film "Die Another Day" (James Bond) released in November 2002, to great acclaim. In 2004, Aston Martin optimised and revitalised the model (on the mechanical side, the power was increased, the Sports Dynamics Package was incorporated, the aluminium and carbon fibre chassis was improved, the steering was more precise, the shock absorbers, springs and brakes were improved, new gear ratios and an improved differential, in terms of aesthetics, a new aileron was built into the boot lid and a new front diffuser was incorporated and new wheels were included) that debuted at the Paris Motor Show, the V12 Vanquish S, with 520 hp and capable of reaching 322 km/ h. It was also the last AM model to be manufactured at the Newport Pagnell plant after almost 50 years of production. Still handbuilt.
