This 2 owner from new Cooper is finished in original factory colours of tweed grey with an old English white roof and grey trim. It was sympathetically restored some twenty years ago by the second owner. During this restoration the engine had a power boost in the way of a high lift cam was fitted and some cylinder head work, making it somewhat spritely over a standard car. Brakes have been upgraded to Cooper S inc a servo. Some nice touches fitted include period boot mounted reverse light, minilite style wheels, dash clock cluster including rev counter, removable grille kit, quick rack steering and motolita wood rim steering wheel. I now have a heritage cert showing matching numbers.
Each time i take a drive in this lovely little car it makes me smile, it can now be your turn.
