Based on the original 6-cylinder engine, which was uprated to 249 bhp, it features a black radiator grille, chrome door mirrors, a leather and wood steering wheel, aerosport wheels and Jaguar stitching on the seat backs. The ultimate fully-equipped version includes air conditioning, power steering, electric windows, mirrors and soft top, airbag and speed limiter. It was delivered new to its first owner in Florida. It will remain there until 2006 before moving to New York, and will be imported into France in 2013 - an import validated by Jaguar France's homologation department. Its American history is traceable thanks to the CarFax we have at our disposal. The car is beautifully presented. The bodywork is in very good condition, the paintwork is shiny, as are the chrome parts. There are a few imperfections from wear and tear here and there due to the passage of time. The chassis and underpinnings are in good condition, with no corrosion. The beige leather interior has been fairly well preserved, although there is some ageing of the leather which may need to be fed. The dashboard is in perfect condition, as is the woodwork. The instrumentation is functional. As for the engine, it is fitted with its original 4. 0-litre block in very good working order. As for the automatic gearbox, it was replaced in 2020 (exchange of reconditioned gearbox). Its current owner maintains it regularly, as it should be, in a specialist garage: - Replacement of the rear discs and pads (January 2024) - Repairs to the sealing of the soft top motor - Complete overhaul (July 2022 - 76. 295 miles) - Replacement of the ABS unit - Replacement of the rear suspension silent blocks - Replacement of the brake booster A full file of invoices is available.
