We are pleased to present the opportunity to own a very rare collectable Ducati 888 SP4. This is the ultimate example and the best we have ever seen. The present owner has recently spent £13, 000 on having a full professional in depth inspection and full strip and rebuild (including engine) carried out.
Our example is number 342 of just 500 made. A beautiful 1992 model showing just 4, 967 Kms (3, 086 miles) that originated in Italy and had been sat in a private Italian collection since 2004 before being brought to the UK and registered with a UK age related number plate. Supplied with all the original Italian paperwork plus UK V5, original handbook, its original silencers, 3 keys and a comprehensive dossier on the bike with every detail of the strip and work carried out which is available upon request but far too in depth to list.
This stunning original example of Ducati’s 888 SP4 homologation special re: Doug Pollens 1992 world superbike winning racer from 1992. Beautifully presented this SP4 homologation special was an updated version of the 851 SP3 and was produced for the 1992 World Superbike Championship in which it won. It had revised bodywork and produced in only 500 units worldwide. Another Ducati that has become hard to find and super rare in these conditions.
