Hello, after 5 years at the wheel I've decided to put up for sale my magnificent and rare 1999 Mini Cooper S WORKS 5! This Mini is a real collector's item, a rarity among rarities. Produced in a very limited series by John Cooper Garages in England, only around fifty examples of this model have ever seen the light of day. Mine is number 29. This mini received the famous John Cooper preparation with a 5-speed gearbox, bringing its power to 90 bhp, as well as numerous accessories from the JCG catalogue.
Its Tahiti Blue colour, combined with a range of John Cooper options, such as door strips, Clarion and HP post, oil dipstick, wheel centre, stainless steel John Speed exhaust, gear knob, door handles, and many more, make it a highly sought-after and coveted item. Since leaving the factory in 1999, it has clocked up 70, 730 original miles or 11, 3828 slightly evolving. The engine has been completely rebuilt by mini garage London where the JKD gearbox has been replaced by a minipar with a 3. 44 axle and part of the bodywork has been redone (£10, 000 invoice before I bought it).
When I bought it, I had all the body sheet metal completely stripped, reassembled with all the parts sandblasted and powder-coated, the bolts and nuts bichromated and all the consumables new (moulton cones, AGX shock absorber, hi low, bearings, silent block etc).
The car's chassis has also been optimised: adjustable tie rods, adjustable arms, KAD aluminium hubs with metro ball joints, 4-piston ventilated disc calipers, aviations brake hoses, etc. A G-technique ceramic treatment has been applied.
